Dr. Jon Hodson was born in England having an adventurous spirit depicted by a keen ‘Go For It!' outlook to life. He is an ordained priest (Most Reverend) spiritual master (Acharya level, equivalent Bishop) of the Mahajrya Buddhist Tradition, a Mikkyo (Esoteric) based tradition, and Spiritually aware with a personal motto of "Hissho No Shinnen" (Believe In Certain Victory!).
Dr. Hodson has been/continues to be a student of the 34th Ninja Grand Master of the Togakure Ryu...Soke Hatsumi in Japan, and has been awarded/accredited by Soke Hatsumi as a 'Dai-Shihan'/'Shidoshi' (meaning 'Senior Master' 15th Dan Black Belt/'Teacher of the Warrior Ways to Enlightenment' - a Licensed International Instructor of the Bujinkan) incorporating the budo taijutsu traditions which Soke Hatsumi learnt from the late Toshitsugu Takamatsu Soke (often described as the 'last true living Ninja'). The Bujinkan is a complete fighting (unarmed combat & armed/weapons) art taught based on the 9 representative budo traditions (styles) encompassing: Togakure Ryu (Ninjutsu), Kumogakure Ryu (Ninjutsu), Gyokushin Ryu (Ninjutsu), Gyokko Ryu (Koshijutsu), Koto Ryu (Koppojutsu), Gikan Ryu (Koppojutsu), Takagi Yoshin Ryu (Jutaijutsu), Shinden Fudo Ryu (Dakentaijutsu), and Kuki Shinden Fudo Ryu (Hikenjutsu).

Dr Jon Hodson has been offering Self Defence classes to the Casey Community for nearly 10 years. Robert Bussey has been described as a true martial arts icon. Heralded by the media as the "King of Combat", Robert Bussey is best known as an American martial arts innovator, ninja extraordinaire, and a uniquely original hand to hand technician.

Master Hodson was the master and representative for Ninjutsu & Budo Taijutsu in Australia at the 2019 Arnold Sports Festival Australia held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The School was granted a 3m x 3m stall space at one of the major attractions in Melbourne - the Berwick Show - over a weekend in February. Various students volunteered to join Shihan Hodson in presenting the School to the general public. Whilst the two days were quite physically demanding in terms of working through high heat / temperatures, the School attracted in excess of 50 visitors to find out more about the School's various training programs!
